Full and Part time opportunities to support families to be happier and healthier in London and Birmingham...

We have full and part time nutritionist/dietitian positions available in Birmingham and London (Enfield, Brent, Hounslow and Waltham Forest), which will be responsible for delivering and creating behaviour change programmes for families. This role will include a wide range of organisational and delivery tasks and requires you to be able to put your nutritional and behaviour change expertise to good use alongside helping children and their families change their weight and create healthy habits to become happier and healthier.

Heres what the job entails:

    • Help to refine existing programmes and develop new ones in line with evidence and sound underpinning theories 
    • Be part of a team that delivers nutrition and behaviour change sessions in a range of interventions:
      • BeeZee Families- Child Weight management programmes for 5-15 year olds  
      • 1-1 and group brief intervention support
      • BeeZee Live- online support
    • Empower individual families to manage their weight and behaviour effectively by understanding their individual context and needs and supporting them to change behaviours
    • Ensure we deliver evidence based advice to families across Hertfordshire- keeping up with changes and new ways of working
    • Following up with families/Review families after sessions to ensure they are on track and referring onto alternative services if necessary 
    • Adhere to professional practice standards and legislation, including confidentiality, safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion policies.
    • Help us achieve our contract aims
    • Ensure content and resources are locally and culturally relevant 
    • Targeted work with Black African and Black Caribbean families 
    • Input data and manage caseloads of families using our online data system
    • Work with local professionals to increase referrals to our service and build on existing partnerships
    • Refer families to support from local services
    • Contribute to a positive working environment to help the team thrive and innovate and use new ideas (a good sense of humour is a must)
    • Undertake other relevant work as required by BeeZee Bodies
